We tried a Village ride and Santa's Pets in November 2025. We would repeat Santa's Pets and choose a longer outing instead of the short ride next time.

Our two experiences
The ride cost €135 for our family and lasted about ten minutes. It was calm and pretty, but too short for what we wanted at that price. Read our full reindeer ride review for the wait, sleigh setup and value.
Santa's Pets cost €45 for our family visit. We could meet reindeer at close range and buy suitable feed, which was closer to the animal encounter we wanted. The Santa's Pets review covers the visit and guided-walk options.
Choosing a longer outing
We have not tried a farm visit. Compare the official reindeer listings for actual ride time, time with a herder, group size, warm-up facilities and snow-dependent cancellation terms. Ask how the animals' work and rest are managed too.
