We would eat at Santa's Salmon Place again. The open-fire salmon was very tasty and the portions were enough for us. The practical catch was standing outside for about half an hour before getting our food.

We went on 28 November 2025 after a morning at SantaPark. Back at Santa Claus Village, we joined the queue around 15:15 and ordered takeaway. Our order cost €50.

The food and the bill

This was a salmon meal we were happy to repeat, rather than simply food bought because we happened to be hungry at an attraction. The €50 was the total for our takeaway order in November 2025. It is not a current per-person price.

We found the portions adequate and could order in English. We took the food away, so our experience says more about the food and collection queue than eating inside. If a seated meal is important, check seating before joining the line.

Plan for the outdoor wait

Our wait was around 30 minutes. That is useful to budget for, but it is one afternoon's experience. A takeaway order still required us to stand outside; it did not make this an instant food stop.

I would avoid putting another timed booking immediately afterwards. With a child, look at the queue before committing and decide whether everyone is ready for another outdoor wait. Our Kotahovi lunch also involved about half an hour of waiting, so changing restaurant would not necessarily have saved time.

Why it worked after SantaPark

We had spent roughly three hours inside SantaPark, then drove back to the Village for food. The order made sense for us: indoor activities first, salmon afterwards. There was no need to stretch the theme-park visit into a full day.

The official Village restaurant listing is the place to check opening information and the operator's website. Village businesses keep different hours, so check this restaurant rather than assuming a general Village closing time.

Our verdict

We would keep this meal in a return itinerary. We would also arrive expecting a possible outdoor queue and check the current menu before using €50 as a budget. For our family, the food justified the stop; the waiting time was the part to plan around.

For a sit-down family meal we also liked Kotahovi. These are the two restaurants we personally tried, and both were worth making room for alongside cheaper meals at our apartment.
