The conversation with Santa lasted about two minutes, but it did not feel rushed. Our five-year-old was excited and surprised, and Santa felt convincing to us. We would repeat the meeting. The part to plan around is the time before and after it: our whole visit took 74 minutes.
This was Santa Claus Office in Santa Claus Village on 26 November 2025. It is separate from the Santa meeting inside SantaPark.
How long we waited
We joined the line around 09:30 and came out at 10:44. Those 74 minutes include the queue, meeting, photographs and the rest of the exit process. They are not a measured queue-only wait.
We had no reservation. The current official meeting guidance still says the standard meeting is free and cannot be booked for a particular time. Visitors join the line; for December, the operator recommends arriving in the morning.
I would leave the next part of the morning open. A short conversation does not mean a short total visit, and our late-November timing should not be used to predict a Christmas-week queue.
What happened in the meeting
We sat with Santa, exchanged a few phrases and had photographs taken. The interaction was brief but worked for our child. We also chose an optional gift package for Santa to present, containing a plush reindeer and small Santa-themed items.
The gift was an extra we selected. You can decide in advance whether you want photographs or a gift, rather than assuming they are part of the free meeting.
What the photographs and gift cost

| Purchase | What we paid in November 2025 |
|---|---|
| Entry and meeting | €0 |
| Official photographs | €55 |
| Optional gift package | €38 |
| Our total for the extras | €93 |
The operator asks guests not to use personal cameras, phones or recording devices during the meeting. Its photographer takes the pictures, which you can choose to buy afterwards. Check the current photo and meeting information for today's products and prices; our €55 was a historical purchase, not a permanent photo tariff.
How it differs from meeting Santa at SantaPark
We did not arrange a second meeting inside SantaPark because we did not want our child wondering why Santa looked different. If you are deciding where to meet him, compare the total family cost, including admission and any photographs you want.
SantaPark's current ticket description includes a Santa meeting and permits personal photography. That makes its pricing structure different, although we cannot compare the two actual meetings firsthand. Our SantaPark review covers the activities we did try there.
Would we do it again?
Yes. The meeting was one of the Village experiences we would keep. I would go in knowing that most of the time may be spent in the surrounding process, and decide on the optional spending before joining the line. Leave an easy stop afterwards, such as the Main Post Office or a walk through the Village.
